3.16 SAVING A PRESENTATION

It is important that you save your presentation from time to time in order to avoid data loss. You can save your
presentation on your computer and later share it with your friends, colleagues, teachers, etc.

3.16.1 Saving a Presentation in Default Format

By default, the presentation is saved with the .odp extension. The steps to save a presentation in default format are as follows:
Step 1: Click on the File menu from the Menu bar. A drop-down menu appears.
Step 2: Select the Save option.
OR
Click on the Save button on the Standard toolbar.
This will open the Save As dialog box.

Step 3: Navigate the location where you want to save the presentation.
Step 4: Type the name of your file in the File name text box.
Step 5: Click on the Save button.

The presentation will be saved with the specified name.
